DESIGN FEATURES
Specially made flush-fit hardware removes receiver-side protrusions, resulting in the narrowest possible forend.
A profiled shape creates an ergonomic curvature and enables attachment of common M-LOK accessories.
A cutout top section allows for unimpeded access to the gas piston system.
Numerous vents help to keep the barrel and forend cool.
A structural bridge is CNC machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum and functions as the primary interface between the rail and the receiver.
What’s Included: This is a comprehensive design that includes 17 individual components, 13 of which are precision CNC machined specifically for the SMR kit.
The SMR kit is still completely compatible with the OE picatinny side rails or other aftermarket receiver attachments, such as the low profile SCAR-400 receiver side grip panels.

Received my SMR For-end from Rego for my SCAR17. For my rifle with no issues and works awesome. I highly recommend the 13” for 16” barrels.

UNBLEIEVABLE. Plain and simple.
1) it’s IMPOSSIBLY light when it arrives. WITH the product box inside of the shipping box it felt like it was empty. Once you get it out of the box it’s even more amazing. I don’t reckon that makes it weak it’s pretty solid once it’s on the gun. No one wants to make the SCAR heavier so this was a welcomed added benefit.
2) once mounted the reduced circumference of the forend that it provides was amazing. Never thought a SCAR could handle like it does. I’m a size 9/10 glove and the hand guard now fits my hand without feeling like I’m compromising my grip.
It’s ART. It really is beautifully done. The custom recessed forend hardware and the additional hand guard saddle are REALLY nice touches too.
Some things to note:
The MLok slot directly IFO the gas block barrel clamp that the forward 10×32 screws into is not a regular length Mlok slot, some accessories may not fit in the slot you’ll have to straddle the two slots to mount something.
Also, the common Arisaka style angled scout light mounts won’t mount cleanly on the 3:00/9:00 flats of the rail. The angle of the top rail doesn’t allow it to but you can mount off of the top rail and mount the light in the downward pos if that suits you. Works fine just out of the ordinary.
Side note: 16” bbl with AEMS/OCL reflex suppressor mount clears the 13” rail version of the rail and allows the can to mount with about 1/8” to spare (I’m not taking my mics out).
