The 16S/17S Flush Front plate is a replacement that eliminates the two sling tabs that protrude from the front of the SCAR 16S/17S receiver. The original font plate can get in the way of a secure grip with your support hand, especially after upgrading to a more ergonomic forend. The original front plate can also interfere with light or laser mounting locations. The Rego flush front plate solves both of those issues.
**This Flush Front Plate is compatible with the SMR-9, SMR-11, or SMR-13 forends, and is only needed if you are not purchasing the RE-11 or RE-13 Receiver Extension. The RE-11 & RE-13 kits already come a new front flush plate that is used for mounting of the picatinny extension.**
The plate is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and hardcoat anodized in Black. Â Sold individually. Compatible with both the Reciprocating Charging Handle (RCH) and the newer Non-Reciprocating Charging Handle (NRCH) SCAR 16S /17S . Still compatible with the original SCAR front iron site.Â

Two high quality Torx head replacement screws that replace the easily-stripped original Allen head screws.
Important NotesÂ
The original SCAR 16S/17S front receiver plate can be very challenging to remove due to the amount of threadlocker that was applied at the factory. These may take careful application of heat to remove them without stripping the screw heads. We strongly recommend having a qualified gunsmith remove the original front receiver plate if you do not have the proper tools for this job.
