The RE-7 Receiver Extension kit is a modular add on for your Rego SMR-7 equipped SCAR 15P that converts the minimalist forend to a full Receiver Extension.
The Receiver Extension improves forend stiffness and increases the upper Picatinny rail space available for mounting of lights and laser aiming modules, while still maintaining a light weight and streamlined profile.
The RE-7 kit includes a custom designed, CNC machined, low profile shoulder screw that anchors the extension to the 15P upper using the existing hole in the receiver. This screw head is thin enough that many light or laser mounts can be installed right over top of it.
Precision machined from 6061 aluminum alloy and finished with a MIL Type III hardcoat anodizing in either Black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE). Â Â
The RE-7 is only compatible with the SMR-7 forend and the SCAR 15P. This SKU is for the add on Receiver Extension kit only and does not include the SMR forend. Rego SMR forend kits are sold separately and can be found here: SCAR Forend Upgrades
