The RE-11 kit is a modular add on for your Rego SMR-11 equipped SCAR that converts the minimalist forend to a full Receiver Extension

The Receiver Extension improves forend stiffness and increases the upper Picatinny rail space available for mounting of optics, lights, and laser aiming modules, while still maintaining a light weight and streamlined profile

Precision machined from 6061 & 7075 aluminum alloys and finished with a MIL Type III hardcoat anodizing in either Black or Flat Dark Earth (FDE). Also available in a longer length: RE-13 Black

The RE-11 is only compatible with the SMR-11 forend. This SKU is for the add on Receiver Extension kit only and does not include the SMR forend. Rego SMR forend kits are sold separately and can be found here: SCAR Forend Upgrades

What’s Included

This is a comprehensive kit that contains 9 individual components, everything needed to retrofit the RE-11 to your SMR forend equipped SCAR.

Important Notes

The Rego Receiver Extensions are only compatible with the Rego SMR forends. The OE front iron sight must be removed for the Receiver Extension to be installed.

The RE-11 kit includes a replacement for the original SCAR front receiver plate which the Picatinny section bolts to for a rigid connection to the SCAR receiver.

The original SCAR front receiver plate can be very challenging to remove due to the amount of threadlocker that was applied at the factory. Please carefully review our installation video here. We strongly recommend having a qualified gunsmith remove the OE front receiver plate if you do not have the proper tools for this job.
